Colorado State University
Darryl, Doug and Barry are alumni of Colorado State University. Mike and Ryan are supporters of the University.
The Arvada Visitor Center
Mike served on the Board of Directors of The Arvada Visitors Center from January 2014-September 2016. The Visitors Center is located in Historic Olde Town Arvada at 7305 Grandview Avenue and is a one-stop-shop for all activities, events and promotions happening in Arvada. Visitors Center representatives will be able to provide: recommendations about where to shop, eat and play; fun things to see and do in Arvada; directions, relocation information and more
The Arvada Chamber of Commerce
Mike is serving his 6th year as a member of the Board of Directors. He served as the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors in 2015. The Chamber works to hear concerns about the national economy and to take a "...proactive approach to stimulate business growth and prosperity in the Arvada area." The Chamber looks to keep building the community and keeping dollars local to the area.
Ft. Collins Chamber of Commerce
High Point Financial Group is a current member of the Ft. Collins Chamber of Commerce as a team. The Chamber of Commerce values and supports the local business in the Fort Collins community.
The Audubon Society of Greater Denver
Dan has served on the board of the Audubon Society of Greater Denver. He also supports an annual Birdathon held by the Audubon Society, which is a fundraising event involving supporters and their families going out and birdwatching. The Audubon Society's mission to be "Advocates for the environment, connecting people through conservation, education and research."
Loveland Chamber of Commerce
High Point Financial Group is a current member of the Loveland Chamber of Commerce as a team. They support their local community and want to see it grow.
Junior Achievement
Barry volunteers with Junior Achievement. JA is an organization designed and "...dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy." The program sponsors and provides programs during and after school to teach students entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness. Through the use of hands-on experience, JA teaches students important financial life skills.
The West Chamber
High Point Financial Group, LLC is a current member of the West Chamber. High Point Financial Group was named Business of the year, under 50 Employees, in 2011.
Boy Scouts of America
Barry and Dan are both supporters of the local Boy Scouts chapters, and Dan is also a Cub Master. Barry is also an Assistant Scout Master and the Rocky Mountain District Chair Person. The Boy Scouts of America was founded as an organization in 1910. Their motto is "Prepared. For Life." The organization prepares children to face life's challenges, while instilling values such as loyalty, obedience, courage, reverence, and trustworthiness.
Northern Colorado (NOCO) Shares
Ryan is the founder and director of Northern Colorado Shares, Inc., an organization dedicated "to [providing] individuals and businesses with the opportunities to engage and give back to the Northern Colorado community and inspire generosity, 90 days at a time." NOCO Shares started with a good deed by Ryan during the winter holidays and grew exponentially into involving multiple other organizations and the community. Barry is also involved in some of the activities held by NOCO.
Redeemer Lutheran Church
Ryan is an active member in his church, Redeemer Lutheran Church. The church embraces it's people as it's foundation, and not just its location, through the values of "rejoice, relate and respond" through religious teachings and spiritual reminders. The church exists "...for the purpose of connecting people to Jesus in a joyful way and with a sense of community."
